Two four-bar linkages, gear-meshed together, synchronise the opening and closing motions of the lid. It utilizes compliant hinges made from 3D-printed Shore-62D (Stiff!) TPU. Made for sleeved magic cards.

I wanted to create a card box that I could thoughtlessly throw into my bag: It is compact, durable, and lightweight.

Honing in on a set of parameters and materials was difficult. Cheers to the wonders of 3D printing for rapid iteration.
